How Converse new Commerical will help Revolutionize the Culture (Again)

It’s really hard to explain how over the course of pop culture, Converse has always  been a helping hand in changing the style of sneakers, but now Converse sponsored a new commercial on Facebook, and it was probably the most woke commercial I have ever saw in my life.

First off, the song that they picked, was so on point, Im really interested in why Gaika 3d, it fit perfectly.  “these are my cities, and these are my streets in a state of emergency) and you just see all of these celebrities diving deep and saying short sentences that are truly impacting.

It’s very fast pace, and it’s a wide variety from rapper Vince Staples, eleven from Stranger Things,  but then things got a little tricky for me. I started seeing people I did not even know, and then I got the message. Converse is basically making it as if this were you, we all have thoughts of how to be successful, but we just have to wait for the perfect opportunity.

We do not know when that is, but in the meantime you can work on yourself and branch off and experience everything, and enjoy the little things in life, just  knowing  that one day your day will come, but you’re going to take a couple Ls a long the way.

But also another great thing about this video was the outfits everyone was wearing. Basically the message of not caring what other people are thinking about your clothing, and just wearing what you like. And if you see something you don’t understand, ask questions, and Being yourself ( I know this could be hard it’s rocket science)

I really like how diverse social media is going, and who knows maybe those robots will come in handy in the near future. But in the meantime, I’m going to hit the gym, and then get some bomb Greek food. Have a go

Why the Mets should try to acquire Eric Gagne

Over the past years, the New York Mets have revitalized many careers, like Renè Rivers and James Loney last year. Seeing the success of the storybook ending events of both of them coming out of nowhere, and helping the Mets make the postseason, when at a point in time it was questioned to whether they could even come close to the wild card. Im sorry if we’re giving contracts to Tim Tebow (I love you) let’s consider Gagne lol.

Although Gagne has not thrown an inning of pro ball in 4 years, he shows that he has stuff left in the tank for Team Canada, throwing over 94mph with authority.

The Mets need one more started reliever, pending how long Familias suspension will last, everyone moves up in the ranks, and some may not be ready to be a big 7th inning or 8th inning specialist, Gagne brings a veteran mentality, while also filling the old veteran void, presented by Bartolo Colon over the past years.

It is reported that 5 teams have asked to see him pitch, I would not be surprised if the Mets were one of them, it would be fun to watch, and the Mets can find small ways to upgrade their already deep franchise.

It will definitely be an interesting year for baseball, so stay up to date on anything sports or media related from PPF Daily. Gucci Suave out.

Jacuzzi Legit; Why Jazz Cartier will body 2017 and Beyond

img_3026To be frank, Jazz Cartier bodied 2016. With some help from his  long time producer Lantz, Jacuzzi released mixtape “Hotel Paranoia” and showed that he is a force to be reckoned with, showing that he is just as fire as his Canadian peers.

I’m not going to lie I lowkey slept on Jacuzzi, until 2015, when I was on Spotify for New Music Friday, a playlist where new music is constantly dropped into a playlist at the end of the week, as  I looked through to find a song called “Stick and Move” by Jacuzzi himself, and I instantly saw his potential .  Stick and Move showed that Jacuzzi is ready to blow up, and knowing that he can be Top 5 of Canada, which is basically a Mount Rushmore of Canadian rappers.

I think Jacuzzi  has a case.  Cartier  has a very dark and ambient vibe to his music. Hotel Paranoia really taps into that paranoid state every person gets into once in awhile, and the mixtape is filled with good content, yet also delivering a meaningful variety of music that will start the prime of his career.

Now it’s 2017, and Jazz has already shook up the game by dropping two new songs. PREE in late 2016, which has a very dark monotone Jacuzzi asking why they want to PREE him, the song then takes a dramatic portal of sound, where you can vividly hear a little girl singing an old nursery with other little girls, it was really creepy, but it served its purpose of really feeling a vibe at where Cartier wants to push the limits of sound, and I am 100 percent on board with this.
Then Jazz dropped “Tempted” which is more of an upbeat forget about ya mans type of song, where he wants a girl to be his shawty. while throwing a Christmas vibe with the little bells buried in the pockets of the beat. Which you are “tempted to touch”.
I feel like 2017 would be a perfect time for Jacuzzi to drop an album, and while various Canadian artists are thirsting for success, who knows, maybe Jazz will release a project that can really showcase that he truly belongs. From his crazy live performances, to the boundaries of rap that he is trying to surpass. Jazz Cartier is here to stay but wait, Lantz is, is that you?
