Dede Westbrook Wins Skills Competition  after Taylor Celebrates Too Soon

The Allstar FBS challenge is in full swing. where possible NFL draft picks play numerous games to test their agility. In the PS4 hands completion, some hysterical shit happened and I feel like somebody has to address it.

The challenge is basically an obstacle course for future possible draft prospects, and in one heat, Trent Taylor beat the current first place time, and punted the football and just flexed on everyone, it was a super cool in the moment.

But then I started thinking, what if someone just straight up beat this time, and just savagely made fun of this guy. And it didn’t happen until wide receiver Dede Westbrook, an Oklahoma alumni, straight up beat his time by .6 seconds.

And he did it in the most salt bae way, no words needed, he just laughed his way to a possible better projection in the NFL draft

This is why college all star challenges before any draft is amazing  for the players. And as the draft comes closer, than we will see where these players will end up.

But then I wa16.1 Trent Taylor

How Converse new Commerical will help Revolutionize the Culture (Again)

It’s really hard to explain how over the course of pop culture, Converse has always  been a helping hand in changing the style of sneakers, but now Converse sponsored a new commercial on Facebook, and it was probably the most woke commercial I have ever saw in my life.

First off, the song that they picked, was so on point, Im really interested in why Gaika 3d, it fit perfectly.  “these are my cities, and these are my streets in a state of emergency) and you just see all of these celebrities diving deep and saying short sentences that are truly impacting.

It’s very fast pace, and it’s a wide variety from rapper Vince Staples, eleven from Stranger Things,  but then things got a little tricky for me. I started seeing people I did not even know, and then I got the message. Converse is basically making it as if this were you, we all have thoughts of how to be successful, but we just have to wait for the perfect opportunity.

We do not know when that is, but in the meantime you can work on yourself and branch off and experience everything, and enjoy the little things in life, just  knowing  that one day your day will come, but you’re going to take a couple Ls a long the way.

But also another great thing about this video was the outfits everyone was wearing. Basically the message of not caring what other people are thinking about your clothing, and just wearing what you like. And if you see something you don’t understand, ask questions, and Being yourself ( I know this could be hard it’s rocket science)

I really like how diverse social media is going, and who knows maybe those robots will come in handy in the near future. But in the meantime, I’m going to hit the gym, and then get some bomb Greek food. Have a go

Let the Players Rest; Why the NBA should focus on quality instead of quantity

As you can see over the past few months, there has been a rising concern that all star caliber players are being rested by their coaches,  so that players can stay healthy to play the entire season while avoiding serious injuries over the course of the long NBA season.

The NBA schedule can be tough on a NBA player. I mean look at the players, these men are huge. And if those gigantic beasts are pushed day in and day out, their bodies can be proned to aches and pains, which can lead to surgeries, and even more time off.

So what do they do now? You have the fans, of say Lebron James, who might live in Washington, and will save money to be able to see their favorite players in their hometown,  and if they sit out because they are constantly playing back to back road games, and traveling while being in pain, while the fan feels betrayed for not seeing who they mesmerize for hours on the TV.

Everyone is not happy right now. If the best players are not on the floor, the ratings will go down. I think the NBA should push their franchises to  posting their active players, who they are going to play in the game on that day early in advance, so if you are a fan and see your favorite player is playing in your city, then the fan would know whether or not the team is going 110% that game, not recovering from a long road trip.

The MLB and NFL have had somesort of roster set ups in advance to the games. These players need rest, because it is a long season, and a player must be ready to compete to possibly June if you are a member of a title contending team.

The fans want quality, but the amount of time the players have to rest, it’s almost impossible for that to exist. So the NBA Has to do some serious marketing reconstruction in order to keep the fans and players happy. As for everything in life, we should be focused on quality over quantity. No matter what.

Let the Madness Begin; How This March might be the most mad of all time

The NCAA March Madness tournament officially tipped off this Thursday afternoon, aka everyday life is put on hold for a week, of just non stop basketball. Where it is either being viewed at home comfortably, or in a lecture hall on your phone, there is a feeling of non stop suspense for 64 teams, and it is the most exhilarating feeling in the world.

This year can go so many ways, their are so many good teams that are ranked 13th that have big talented athletes that want to win, and anything can happen, and we just have to watch it unfold.

I am predicting a lot of upsets, but I also do not want the teams that I want to win to get upset. The idea of making a perfect bracket is almost impossible, but everyone feels like they can do it. And then there are the stats wizards who analyze everything and predict of a numbers instead of bias which can make a prediction to who can win on a team on team basis

But most of it will come in the March air. After this phenomenon of basketball concludes, the regular season end for basketball and then playoffs begin, while the Major League Baseball Season is right around the corner as well. This tournament is a pick me up for the beginning of spring and summer, so it is time to soak in some basketball, and enjoy a happy spring break.

Why the Mets should try to acquire Eric Gagne

Over the past years, the New York Mets have revitalized many careers, like Renè Rivers and James Loney last year. Seeing the success of the storybook ending events of both of them coming out of nowhere, and helping the Mets make the postseason, when at a point in time it was questioned to whether they could even come close to the wild card. Im sorry if we’re giving contracts to Tim Tebow (I love you) let’s consider Gagne lol.

Although Gagne has not thrown an inning of pro ball in 4 years, he shows that he has stuff left in the tank for Team Canada, throwing over 94mph with authority.

The Mets need one more started reliever, pending how long Familias suspension will last, everyone moves up in the ranks, and some may not be ready to be a big 7th inning or 8th inning specialist, Gagne brings a veteran mentality, while also filling the old veteran void, presented by Bartolo Colon over the past years.

It is reported that 5 teams have asked to see him pitch, I would not be surprised if the Mets were one of them, it would be fun to watch, and the Mets can find small ways to upgrade their already deep franchise.

It will definitely be an interesting year for baseball, so stay up to date on anything sports or media related from PPF Daily. Gucci Suave out.

The Growing Pain of Missing your hometown bagel store; What the hell do we do now?

So you’re  a small town kid, who has grown a liking to a particular bagel store, from the hours of 4 in the morning to 6pm, you can waltz right in and get a crazy good bacon egg and cheese, or if youre feeling fancy, throw a home fry on it and call it a BOBO.

But once you move away to college, you’ll think “o yeah my college will def have a bagel shop near me, what they don’t have lazy people like me that will pay another person money to make me a top notch breakfast sandwitch  whenever I want? Yeah no I’m good”. My friend, savor every crumb while you still can

I remember it like it was yesterday. I asked my roomate who is a native of where I go to school if there were any cool bagel shops around here, and he flat out said Tim Hortons. I think my brain  short circuited. What do I eat now?? I’ve been paying my boy Caesar for years to make me breakfast, because I am a degenerate who is to lazy to actually make the food myself. Let’s be honest, they know what they’re doing, and the way it just comes off the stove, straight sensational

So start liking pop tarts again, because I sure did after living the luxury of a small town bagel store. But it makes it count for when you come home form break and that store has never stopped a beat, and will serve you  up any time you please. So be grateful for that small bagel store, because one day you’ll be missing that place like crazy.
