How Converse new Commerical will help Revolutionize the Culture (Again)

It’s really hard to explain how over the course of pop culture, Converse has always  been a helping hand in changing the style of sneakers, but now Converse sponsored a new commercial on Facebook, and it was probably the most woke commercial I have ever saw in my life.

First off, the song that they picked, was so on point, Im really interested in why Gaika 3d, it fit perfectly.  “these are my cities, and these are my streets in a state of emergency) and you just see all of these celebrities diving deep and saying short sentences that are truly impacting.

It’s very fast pace, and it’s a wide variety from rapper Vince Staples, eleven from Stranger Things,  but then things got a little tricky for me. I started seeing people I did not even know, and then I got the message. Converse is basically making it as if this were you, we all have thoughts of how to be successful, but we just have to wait for the perfect opportunity.

We do not know when that is, but in the meantime you can work on yourself and branch off and experience everything, and enjoy the little things in life, just  knowing  that one day your day will come, but you’re going to take a couple Ls a long the way.

But also another great thing about this video was the outfits everyone was wearing. Basically the message of not caring what other people are thinking about your clothing, and just wearing what you like. And if you see something you don’t understand, ask questions, and Being yourself ( I know this could be hard it’s rocket science)

I really like how diverse social media is going, and who knows maybe those robots will come in handy in the near future. But in the meantime, I’m going to hit the gym, and then get some bomb Greek food. Have a go

Tropic Thunder on Netflix; Why the World just got hella cool

I was strolling through Netflix, due to the fact that people on my snapchat group (nickg1705)  were asking what is good. And then it hit me, Tropic Thunder was the first thing i noticed, and my inner middle school self shit himself.

Tropic Thunder was my childhood, there are so many classic one liners, and situations that are so cringy yet hysterical. With a star studded cast going from Ben Stiller to Robert Downey Jr playing a black guy, it really does past the limit of reality.

There were literally 0 fucks given in the production of this movie, language and morals are thrown out of the  window for the duration of the movie.

Tropic Thunder makes fun of sequel movies, and drugged out actors that will do anything for a check, while crossing over from a serious movie, and then into them pretending to be on a fake movie set, pretending to be awful true people.

I definitely reconmend watching this movie, but it definitely gets ghory. And please do not forget to drink booty sweat.

You are the only one holding you back

Don’t you just love those days where everything is going smoothly, then wam! The old existential bug comes to town. And everything is processed under a microscope.

This can be overwhelming, but do not worry, this can actually be the greatest thing that has ever happened to you. As you go through life, you may seem to question if you are the best version of yourself, and some days I just don’t even look in the mirror and just have this belief that I’m just an awkward kid, and then I just came waltz around like yup I’m toats a douche

But then I just suddenly look in the mirror and just laugh, because I am not the person I was even a year ago, I am a much more independent person, and I basically became obsessed with waking up early to go to the gym.

Be patient, the good times will come. You just have to experience a lot of shit until you start seeing your true self. And each day I just feel like I am getting closer and it’s pretty lit. So yeah keep going my friend, and just remember you aren’t as alone as you think you are.

STFU and just go to the gym; Stay true to what you say

Hey didn’t see you there, if you’re complaining about how you look to other people, while not putting in any of the work… please just leave right now, but if you actually want to keep going feel free.

I think it has been implemented in our brains that it is going to take huge amounts of working out, while working on a small diet in order to get the body you desire. It really isn’t as hyped up it is to be.

Let me honest, I was a frail 20 year old kid who just ran cross country, and lifted absolutely no weights, once I was hit in the face of weight lifting, I panicked. And over time I saw no results.

But once I made  a schedule of what I was going to do,and really dedicating my mornings to molding the body I want was just months away, the  muscle will come eventually, and not eating like total shit every day, I started seeing results.

Although I am not even close to where I want to be, it’s still something I wake up knowing how I am going to start my day, and it really gave my life purpose again. The gym can physically and mentally appreciate yourself, the more you go.

You cannot just go through life just saying that it’s hard while not trying it at all. Even if it takes a while, the gym is a great place to just go when you’re bored and want to make yourself better. You can do this, it just takes time. So grab your pre workout and get these gains boys/girls👍🏽

Suave’s Spotify Sunday

Lady’s and Gentleman, we have made it to the last day of the week. So Suave wants to bring tradition into your life by starting Suaves Spotify Sunday, a day where Suave selects seven songs from Spotify to kee p your Sunday’s fresh and relaxing. Let’s get started

  1. Crew-  Goldlink feat Brent Faiyaz and Shy Glizzy

With Brent Faiyaz flexing with his melodic voice for the hook, Goldlink comes in and just murders his flow, showing love for his crew while also getting some clever lines like “girl your you can’t tie me down like Ray J said but no I’m down” great shoutout from the song Tie Me Down by New Boys and Ray J, one of my middle school favs. Shy Glizzy brings a turnt up vibe, combine all 3 of them and it’s one hell of a song.

2.  Saint JHN-  3 Below

Saint JHN interests me. With his feature In Teflon Sega’s Beretta Lake,  Saint JHN comes back and drops a single 3 Below,  which is just another great song from JHN, and I’m expecting a big 2017 from me.

3.  NAV- Good for it

NAV is blowing up, from his producing to his bars. NAV recently dropped NAV, a mixtape with amazing beats and songs, Good For it shows how NAV just flexes on everything and that he is good for anything that he is trying to accomplish. Although he is just “a brown boy with a bag” he is co signed with The  Weeknd, and with a Metro Boomin collaboration album in the works, this will not be the last time you heard of NAV in 2017.

4. Perfect by Ed Sheeran

Ed did it again. This song is just a perfect example of what every guy goes through when they find the right woman. A true story of love and the confusion of what your emotions a person is going through when someone is in love, while making this song sound like a dope 1950’s love song, yeah no Ed you’re the king.

5. KYLE feat Cousin Stizz Want me back

KYLE is killing 2017 right now, From Doubt it to I SPY, although the vision and success started in 2012, KYLE knows exactly what he wants to do and is making the music he has dreamt about. Want me back is basically about all of your demons wanting you back, but knowing that your family and loved ones are with your side, showing you guidance from those demons, while doing it in the happiest way possible.

6. Khalid Saved

Khalid crushed American Teen, Saved Is a calm song, showing Khalid will always save a certain girls numbed after a breakup, and he just says the little things that can really break a guys heart, like “I hope you think of all the times… I was the only one who cared” I am currently going through this stuff and Khalid was spot on, Drake who?

7. Mac Demarco This Old Dog

I feel like it is an obligation, to always incorporate Mac Demarco into your Sunday playlist. His music is very calm yet hard hitting at the same time. if you want to catch some sun shine, while listening to some extremely soothing music, Demarco is your guy.

Hope you enjoyed Suaves Spotify Sunday. There will be more great songs next week, so don’t sleep on these Suave playlists next Sunday. Suave out.

Why the Mets should try to acquire Eric Gagne

Over the past years, the New York Mets have revitalized many careers, like Renè Rivers and James Loney last year. Seeing the success of the storybook ending events of both of them coming out of nowhere, and helping the Mets make the postseason, when at a point in time it was questioned to whether they could even come close to the wild card. Im sorry if we’re giving contracts to Tim Tebow (I love you) let’s consider Gagne lol.

Although Gagne has not thrown an inning of pro ball in 4 years, he shows that he has stuff left in the tank for Team Canada, throwing over 94mph with authority.

The Mets need one more started reliever, pending how long Familias suspension will last, everyone moves up in the ranks, and some may not be ready to be a big 7th inning or 8th inning specialist, Gagne brings a veteran mentality, while also filling the old veteran void, presented by Bartolo Colon over the past years.

It is reported that 5 teams have asked to see him pitch, I would not be surprised if the Mets were one of them, it would be fun to watch, and the Mets can find small ways to upgrade their already deep franchise.

It will definitely be an interesting year for baseball, so stay up to date on anything sports or media related from PPF Daily. Gucci Suave out.

Bibi Bourelly is who We need; Stay true to Yourself

It is safe to say, whatever time period we are in ,there will be people who go through life, and people who question everything and are comfortable about discussion.

German born singer, Bibi Bourelly is exactly that. Bourelly has become a role model to the every day teen, and you really see that in her music. Her father, Jean-Paul Bourelly,  was an artist and has collaborated with other artists with his guitar skills, can really influence a teen.

But if you really look down deep, everything around us influences us to be the people we are today. Our emotions control our attitudes, and some days will be good, while some may be terrible, and Bibi preaches that in all of her music.

Her hit single Ballin emphasizes that to the fullest extent. She just writes about her life, while being extremely true and inspirational to the listener. Her latest mixtape Free the Real (Pt.#2) Is filled with good vibes and can show that whenever she drops an album, it will be sensational.

I feel like we are seeing more artists who get life, and they are searching for the perfect sound, and are really striving to make a difference in this world. So keep doing you Bibi, and show off some of the Ego on the way!
